Single Board Computer / FPGA Based PC104 SBC

Overview

PC104 and PC104 plus are one of the most popular formants for SBCs that are currently available in the market. To provide extra flexibility and expansion to designers and to the design itself Dexcel has designed PC104 plus SBC which is based on a FPGA. With the FPGA on board, there is a flexibility of adding user logic in the same FPGA and can eliminate the need of extra add-on board, if the interfaces currently designed on the board meets the customer requirement.

Application

The SBC can be used in any industrial/commercial application where there is a need for control is required. As the board is having ADCs and DACs, this board can be used for various data acquisition applications. The on board NAND Flash provides ample storage space for application where data storage is required. The PCI interface and the PC104 interface provides stackable option for add-on cards to reduce the time to market .
